My direct cliebt has an immediate need for a Help Desk Specialist.

Location: Kennett Square, PA
Duration: Perm or 5 Month Contract to Hire

Start Date: ASAP


SUMMARY
Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Details:
  • 3-5 years of experience 
  • Have to have perfect comms 
  • Good adhoc experience 
  • Working with users, 19 remote facilities
  • Customer service skills 
  • Windows environment 
  • Troubleshooting, taking machines apart to remove memory 
  • Strong PC Skills
  • Remote support capability
  • Networking, Server experience (nice to have)
  • Resetting password, 
  • Only dealing with internal employees
  • Ticketing System
  • Most responses are done via email
  • Escalating items to Jerome
  • High level issues go to James (SSD Technology Partners) 
  • Setting users up in Active Directory, adding users to environment
  • Day Travel involved - 20% (DE, NJ, PA), typically 1 day a week 
Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
  • knowledge of relevant call tracking applications
  • knowledge and experience of customer service practices
  • related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
