The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution of testing activities on simple to complex implementations.  The QA Analyst will work collaboratively with the Digital department and other business units to execute and validate test cases based on business or functional requirements.  This position requires the analyst to develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size, among other assigned duties.  
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Daily coordination of testing activities with the QA Manager, Project Manager, Account Executives, Developers and other project resources.
  • Planning, creating, documenting and running test cases in addition to instructing others on how to run test cases.
  • Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen, images, text or content.
  • Participating in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
  • Identifying, logging and tracking issues, proofing errors, bugs and proactively communicating with stakeholders with EXTREME DETAIL.
 
 
Education and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of software quality assurance experience.
  • Expert knowledge of testing websites.
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Must be able to investigate an issue, isolate its probable cause, and provide a reliable method for reproducing the issue.
  • Expert knowledge of SDLC.
  • Expert knowledge in creating test cases and testing documentation with or without requirements/specifications.
  • Expert knowledge with issue tracking tools (TFS, JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.)
  • Browser testing, website testing, and web page construction, search engines, filters, images, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of proofreaders' marks and symbols.
  • Must have a good resume with no grammatical and spelling errors.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, JSON, and PHP a plus.
