The right candidate will have an insatiable desire to develop content and others people about the digital advertising industry. They will have an understanding of the ecosystem, especially advanced advertising solutions, their related products and making them digestible to understand for participants at various levels of experience. The right candidate will be a natural networker, adept at connecting different groups to create opportunities for all. Finally, the right candidate will be a natural problem solver, looking at challenges in any business as tremendous growth opportunities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Curriculum Development:
    • Develop curricula for classroom-based  and web-based training for the interactive community, including creating a calendar of courses, working with members and faculty to develop course curricula, and producing courses on an ongoing basis
    • Serve as subject matter expert for development of training materials
    • Oversee production of classes in a variety of formats, including live classroom and online on-demand
    • Recruit 3rd party trainers when necessary

  • Industry Leadership:
    • Establish and maintain a Learning and Development council to oversee curriculum development, and professional development initiatives for industry.
    • Work closely with the Director of Certification and Training Operations to manage finances and project deliverables for team
    • Build awareness and participation in the professional development program among members and non-members
Requirements and qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have an instructional design background that combines experience in the interactive industry and the educational field. Bachelor's degree required.  Graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in either the advertising and media industries or in training and instructional design.
  • Deep knowledge of Learning Management Systems and e-learning authoring tools
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, communication, status and issue tracking, and delivery of on-time results.
  • Ideal candidate is a self-starter, confident, energetic, positive, focused, dependable, proactive, independent, resourceful, creative, team player and possesses a "can do” attitude.
