Job Description:

My direct Client is looking for a full-time, in-house Proofreader for one of the fastest-growing financial news sites on the web. You’ll be joining the Marketing Team, and your key responsibilities will include proofing, line editing, and fact checking a range of marketing materials in a variety of media, including web, print, editorial, and video. 

Writing ability is a huge plus, but the true key to success in this position is a relentless hunger to leave no stone unturned.

Core responsibilities include:
  • Proofreading
  • Line Editing
  • Fact checking marketing materials (web, print, editorial, and video) 
Skills and requirements we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of related work experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Genuinely curious and full of ideas
• Bonus if you have a background or interest in finance and/or copywriting
