Job Summary and Scope of Responsibility:

The E-commerce Manager, Connected Products, owns an online experience for one of our client's applications. This person will leverage consumer insights and user journeys, testing and analytics to optimize User Experience to drive online transactions and lead capture. The Manager partners with external Agencies and internal Search Marketing team to develop successful customer acquisition campaigns and ensures a seamless online experience the optimizes conversion. Collaborates with Digital Content Marketing, Product and Channel Managers to develop best-in-class content and online campaigns. The Ecommerce Manager will be measured against primary KPIs of content engagement, site-to-cart-to-checkout conversion rates, app downloads, cost per acquisition, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:
  • Optimize organization of website information including product data, features and benefits, visual merchandising, pre-sell and post-sales support, and other online merchandising tactics to enable seamless shopping experience for the customer
  • Monitor onsite search activity to understand customer intent and make appropriate adjustments to improve search-to-cart-to-purchase metrics
  • Review and optimize buying experience via A/B testing and leveraging web analytics tools
  • Deliver relevant cross-sell / up-sell strategies to increase average order size and improve gross profit
  • Partner with Channel and Product managers to coordinate supply/demand, product allocations, pricing and promotional strategies and campaigns
  • Maintain optimized product keyword database for portfolio of products via research and online tools/portals. Work with Agency and internal team to align with SEO/SEM customer acquisition efforts
  • Extend online product merchandising excellence and conversion tactics across all online channels where these products are sold.
  • Stay current on trends among direct competitors and best-in-class e-commerce sites offering similar products / IOT / connected home products.
  • Provide experience and best practice framework to be applied over other brands/products
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience generating online sales in IOT / connected product categories. Well-developed understanding of e-commerce business drivers affecting top and bottom line.
  • Demonstrated experience in SEO/SEM
  • Knowledge of the business operations needed to support ecommerce business, including website platforms, content management systems, data management, order fulfillment and returns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Experience with product listings, data feeds and web analytics
  • Proficient in Google Analytics
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated and can work independently, detail oriented, organized and efficient.
  • Passion for data and analytics

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experienced using Product Information Management System (PIMS) and/or Content Management System (CMS)
  • Knowledge of HTML, Kentico CMS and Hybris Ecommerce software
