Job Description:

My client is seeking an energetic, passionate and highly motivated candidate that will help take their operations and analytics to the next level.  This person will help determine the digital demand generation metrics and how to measure against objectives to gauge success.  In addition, he/she will be responsible for reporting and analyzing all phases of the demand generation funnel.
The Marketing Operations Manager will work to create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management. He/she will also conduct complex data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company. This position will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once.

 Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database.
  • Evaluate new and current technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
  • Document processes and procedures and works with all key marketing members and stakeholders to ensure adherence
  • Work with sales operations, marketing strategy, web, SEM, social, paid advertising and marketing automation specialists to measure performance
  • Analyze and present marketing metrics both within the department, management and industry groups
  • Work with Sales teams to educate them on current processes and metrics, and strengthen alignment between sales & marketing
  • Participate in the brainstorming and implementation of new programs, tactics, and processes
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years working in a marketing operations, with a focus on digital and demand generation
  • 3+ years experience working with marketing automation systems, Marketo strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, analyze effectiveness and ROI
  • Well organized with ability to multi-task and think outside of the box
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a fast-paced marketing team
  • Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems and integrating those systems with Salesforce and other technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
  • Must be able to prioritize projects, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Desired Skills:
  • Proficient knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proficient in Marketo or other marketing automation software
  • Experience with performance measurement via marketing automation reports, web analytics, Adwords, SEO and social media platforms
  • Social media platforms, monitoring tools • Search engine marketing tools
  • Business intelligence tools
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
