Job Description:

  • Direct mail campaign development for existing campaigns using house database and rental lists
  • Direct mail campaign development for new campaigns for both new efforts and new products
  • Implement improvements to existing campaigns
  • Trouble shoot issues as arise
  • Direct mail team focused on creating the campaign logic in the UNICA tool to process direct mail efforts based on analytical driven strategy
  • In addition, focused on "running the business”; executing campaigns, reviewing performance and testing within core products (together these two efforts consume 90-100% of existing resources).
  • However, the team must simultaneously be able to support nearly full-time dedicated project efforts focused on new product launches, new product development, and expanding into younger and wealthier customer segments, all part of strategic expansion objective of "expanding to the right”.

Contracting Scope of Work Details:
  • Looking to bring on an additional resource for a 6-9-month engagement that can be plugged into the UNICA processing of campaigns
  • Summarize campaign specs in UNICA tool compatible format
  • Creates campaign design structure that aligns with the marketing strategy, including A/B/C testing and segmentation based on a variety of variables
  • Ability to utilize business rules to assure accuracy of input and output data
  • Leads projects to achieve key business objectives
  • Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
  • Convert campaign output data for internal system intake for reporting
  • Ability to work with outside database vendor
  • Help lead some of the efforts directionally, but also be someone who has enough experience to own a task soup to nuts and be an important individual contributor as required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology
  • 3+ years of IBM Campaign (UNICA) Software
  • 3+ years of technical marketing campaign design
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas)
  • Proficiency with SQL / Oracle /Business Objects
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management and data warehouse
  • Insurance or Financial Services field experience
