You will be responsible for managing the search engine marketing channels, both paid and organic. You will manage the paid search and shopping process end-to-end, from campaign inception, management and optimization, through post-campaign analysis. Within organic search, you will partner with technical and content teams to improve the visibility, rank, and relevance of sites in search engines over time. It is expected that you will be a fast-paced, self-motivated person who is detail-oriented and able to keep multiple initiatives moving at once.

  • Working with our agency to optimize search and shopping campaigns on Google and Bing
  • Researching and analyzing keywords relevant to our sites
  • Identify new ad opportunities and search strategies (including bid management and audience optimization)
  • Running ad copy and landing page tests
  • Monitoring success metrics & creating meaningful reporting/ presentations on significant achievements and progress
  • Researching search engine marketing trends and sharing knowledge/best practices internally
  • Working with our business partners and agency to ensure sites perform on an SEO basis
  • Identifying priority keywords for different businesses
  • Running SEO training sessions for business teams to help optimize content and sites on an ongoing basis
  • Answering ad hoc business SEO questions (e.g. questions on changing brand or nomenclature)
  • Monitoring SEO as a marketing channel and trouble-shooting issues (supported by agency)
  • 4+ years' experience in search marketing (to include both SEO and paid search), with increased responsibility
  • Expert knowledge of paid search and experience with SEO best practices
  • Able to communicate effectively in person and in written form (e.g. presentations, reports)
  • Strategic thinking and planning: must be able to manage and deliver day-to-day project results
  • Google Adwords/Bing Ads Certified
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Education, IT or other related field
