This position will primarily be responsible for supporting the design work for our digital products, including but not limited to console software and asset management portal. The UI/UX Design Contractor will work closely with the Design Manager, Product Managers and Software Engineers to create wireframes and mock-ups of the software on our product interfaces. The UI/UX Designer will be well-versed in creating wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and working with software engineers to understand and deliver the file types, supporting artwork, style guides, and dimensions needed to build the product. This position will work in a team environment interacting and coordinating with several business functions.

- Create wireframes and/or workflows to convey product features and functionality
- Carry out the design for front-end interfaces and user experiences that are intuitive for the final look and feel of product
- Apply predetermined styles and brand guidelines to creative executions
- Participate in design critiques
- Communicate, make and request adjustments as needed while working alongside the Software Engineering team to implement and match the original mockups
- Demonstrate flexibility in multiple task assignments with maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail.
- Use own original and creative thinking to develop concepts and finished materials from rough ideas, based on the customers' needs and positioning of the product.
- Present creative concepts to internal clients.
- Help define and work within corporate brand guidelines.

- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in design and creating wireframes and mock-ups
- Strong understanding and application of visual design, typography and interaction design fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience in prototyping - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

B.A. in Graphic Arts, Visual Design, Software Design or equivalent
