Duration: 9+ Month Contract

Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the successful implementation of the financial systems migration to Netsuite and supporting products. This is a hands-on role that requires significant functional knowledge in an Accounts Payable setting, as well as understanding of the technical aspects of NetSuite and other cloud-based technology products to provide high quality solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with project teams and business units acting as a Subject Matter Expert to design and test new processes related to:
    • Sourcing Activities
    • Procurement Activities
    • Accounts Payable
  • Work with Project Team on new NetSuite and related system implementations
  • Document current state process for P2P and other functional business areas and work with Consultants and business stakeholders to redesign business processes for future state
  • Perform Business Acceptance Testing on business requirements (User Stories)
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing on end to end system functionality
  • Escalate and resolve issues and choke points that arise in the day to day activities of the project
  • Participate in defining P2P policies and internal controls and work with external auditors to vet new processes
  • Establish and advise on ERP system best practices
  • Partner with various project teams to cleanse, migrate and test underlying P2P system data

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science or MIS, or similar field required
  • Minimum 1-3 years of functional experience working with P2P systems and technologies, preferably in a global organization
  • Experience implementing ERP Systems or other large-scale projects, preferably with a P2P focus
  • Accounting experience (IFRS/USGAAP) highly desirable
  • NetSuite certifications desirable
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of six sigma, business process management frameworks desirable (not essential) to drive continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal and presentation skills, with an appreciation of the needs of the audience
  • Experience of working in a shared service center accounts payable environment which includes outsourced service providers
