My direct client is seeking an Events Marketing Strategist. The company is based out of Boston, MA, but the role can be worked 95% remote with paid travel occasionally for meetings, as well as a conference in San Francisco.

Location: REMOTE
Duration: 20-30 hours/week through June 2018
Rate: Dependent upon experience

Marketing Strategist, Events/Conferences
 
Client seeks a marketing strategist that can develop a full cycle Go To Market strategy that increases attendance for their technology user conference. This individual should have a broad range of experience in all types of events and conferences and have a proven track record in building comprehensive events strategies, as well as the ability to manage and execute the event plan as part of the overall campaign strategy in support of business and revenue objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan and create a high-impact event strategy in support of lead acquisition goals and business initiatives.
  • Develop strategy utilizing user journey mindset.
  • Develop strategy based on three specific target segmentations (Partners, Customers, Prospects)
  • Work cross-functionally to incorporate demand generation, offering management, social media, digital marketing, and product and portfolio teams into the overall event strategy.
  • Utilize ROI tracking metrics in place to evaluate the performance of the events calendar and shift resources based on event performance..
  • Drive and contribute to messaging and branding strategy for the event.
