We're looking for a Proofreader/Copy Editor obsessed with all things grammar and a passion for detail. If you regularly spot four-leaf clovers, lovingly call your family and friends out when they spell something wrong on Facebook, and understand why the statement "Let's eat Grandma” is cause for alarm, then this is the job for you.

You'll work within the Agile environment, and will primarily be proofreading/editing integrated multi-channel campaigns and single-executions within our brand system. (Never heard of Agile? Don't sweat it. You're a quick learner and will catch on fast.) You will need to have a strong understanding of strategic and creative processes, be comfortable providing and enforcing feedback, and be willing to work alongside Copywriters, Art Directors and Creative Directors.

As a Proofreader/Copy Editor Level II in the Consumer & Retail Group, you will:
  • Review, proofread and edit work alongside senior members of our creative team
  • Act as creative team's subject matter expert on the editorial style guide and brand standards
  • Be the main line of defense against grammatical errors and style guide infractions for work across multiple channels–direct mail, email and digital
  • Stay informed of editorial style guide and brand standards updates and communicate changes to creative team
  • Quality check all creative work and provide sign-off on corrected pieces
  • Work in a Kanban production environment and with Agile Scrum pods
  • Complete all assigned work on time and regularly report the status of projects to the Creative Director
  • Need expert knowledge of business application software (Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
