Role Purpose:

We are looking for an analytically-minded, Digital Media Manager who possesses deep experience in media buying strategy and execution – across display, video, mobile, programmatic, and social channels. You will have the opportunity to be a part of an innovative, fast growing business unit focused on revolutionizing programmatic planning and buying, in the context of a multi-channel data-driven approach. We are looking for an innovator who understands both marketing and technology, and who can aid with identifying business objectives and corresponding media buying solutions resulting in engagement and consideration among our clients' target audiences. This managerial position will work closely with our media leadership and buying specialists to build performance-based marketing capabilities utilizing my client's digital media platforms, data, and analytics.
The role is designed to be a temporary 6-month assignment helping ramp up new teams and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Using your analytical mindset, you will be responsible for the platform strategy, execution, performance and reporting of the media campaign across all buying platforms
  • Be the programmatic and social expert for the client on campaign performance and optimization providing insights into the best strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives
  • Build training materials and best practice documentation
  • Leverage first party data for targeting and insights
  • Oversee the work of 8+ specialists, train technical knowledge and manage workflow
  • Coordinate assets and tags with vendors and ensuring campaigns are delivering against KPI's and proactively managing campaign execution
  • Responsible for overseeing client pacing & performance across digital media portfolio
  • Recommend forward thinking strategies and innovations
  • Proactively working with client services on campaign set-up and optimization strategy
  • Work with the data teams to provide analytical insights to the client
This position reports to the Associate Director or Director, Media Services.
Key Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years experience working in the digital media buying & planning space with focus a on programmatic strategy and execution
  • Must have in-platform execution experience pulling the levers in DSP platforms (i.e. Google's DoubleClick Bid Manager, Amazon AAP, TubeMogul, MediaMath, One by Client, Facebook Ads Manager)
  • Must love and be curious about data analytics and how that affects the bottom line
  • Must be passionate about social media and the technologies used to support online and/or mobile advertising operations: ad serving, audience management tools, inventory applications, and third-party ad tags
  • Experience with digital ads trafficking is required (Atlas, DCM, MediaMind)
  • BONUS: Experience with Paid Social platforms like Facebook Power Editor & Twitter
  • BONUS: Theatrical or home entertainment experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite specifically, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Professional client communication, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pace environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
