Our client is seeking a fulltime FrontEnd Developer to join our growing team. You'll jump right in taking on tasks that involve creating brand new websites, new UX features, and maintaining our portfolio of highly trafficked applications. If you're interested in creating and growing exciting new products in the entertainment and pop culture space we'd love to hear from you!

What you will work on
  • Create and evolve engaging user experiences
  • Maintain and improve existing Rails applications
  • Create & implement A/B Split tests
  • Prototype and help keep our stack current
What we use
  • Our current stack: CoffeeScript, jQuery, Backbone, Underscore, Twitter Bootstrap, Bower, Webpack, Jasmine, Karma, SASS, HAML, Ruby 1.92, Rails 3.24, RSpec, MySQL
  • Applications: Slack, GitLab, New Relic, CodeClimate, Sentry, and GitLab CI
  • We practice Agile / Scrum product development. We use JIRA, host daily stand ups, and work in 2week sprints
  • We are a Mac office with big monitors on a sit/stand desk
Must Haves
  • 2 years of experience as a front end developer
  • Front end experience with Ruby on Rails (Controllers, Views and Asset Pipeline)
  • Ability to write tests and review code
  • JQuery, Bootstrap, and SASS
  • Working experience with Responsive Development
Bonus points
  • Professional Experience with ReactJS
  • Knowledge of HTML Video
  • Familiar with Sprockets and use the Asset Pipeline daily
  • Ability to write the Ruby on Rails part too
  • Experience with designing and setting up A/B or multivariate tests
  • Experience developing native mobile apps for iOS and Android
