Core Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of monitoring and execution of data integrations between systems along with enduring robust hygiene measures are applied to the transfer and storage of data.
  • Support and improve existing data systems (Microsoft Dynamics SL, AWS infrastructure (RDS), website CMS and marketing automation suites) in cooperation with other technology resources or non-technical staff as appropriate
  • Take ownership of major new data storage and reporting initiatives, often working directly with non-technical stakeholders across the business. In this capacity, lead on data warehousing and business intelligence architecture, design and development.
  • Support existing enterprise Salesforce.com architecture, including:
  • Performing standard admin functions to support existing users (65 Sales/Service licenses)
  • Managing of business-critical custom data integrations
  • Documenting data architecture and developing best-practices for daily use
  • Expand use of Salesforce to deliver new business value, including:
  • Taking full ownership of improving data reliability, accuracy and database performance
  • Collaborating with the Senior Enterprise Architect and project management to scope, plan and execute the onboarding of new user groups
  • Increasing accessibility and transparency of data and analytics tools
  • Proactively search out solutions that meet explicit and immediate requirements, but also can scale to accommodate longer-term business needs
The Traits:
Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of enterprise data concepts like data warehousing, data hygiene, etc
Proven technical expertise managing large scale data architecture implementations including necessary software, programming languages and complex data query building
Excellent design, debugging and problem solving skills
Ability to code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
Strong time management and project development skills, with ability to deliver on time and to specifications. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance and
Marketing
A strong focus on business outcomes
Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders

Other Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or Engineering and 3-5 years' experience
Experience administering the full suite of Salesforce.com functionality, in a large-scale environment
Adept in at least one higher level language
Experience with logical data modeling and physical data monitoring
Master Data Management experience, including data dictionaries, data warehousing, metadata registry, data retention, and other related skills
Experience supporting technical project efforts including project planning, design, build, test, and data conversion/migration as well as report design and builds
Proficient with Apex, MySQL, Structured Query Language (SQL), Procedural SQL, Unified Modeling Language (UML), XML, including schema definitions (XSD and RELAX NG) and transformations.
Experience with enterprise application integration (specifically Salesforce.com or other enterprise-level CRMs) solutions
Experience working with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools
