General Summary of Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing, responsible for the overall planning and execution of organizational marketing activities, including research and promotions.
- Defines and executes strategies and tactics.
- Coordinates and analyzes market research.
- Responsible for evaluating marketing metrics and reporting to appropriate parties.
- Monitors budgets associated with marketing activities.
- Assists with organizational activities and special projects, as directed.
Essential Job Functions: (duties may not be ranked by order of importance)
- Create copy for articles, emails, social media posts, brochures, texts, push notifications, and other promotional materials supporting the marketing objectives of our client.
- Monitor the delivery of marketing program metrics, report to appropriate parties, and identify and recommend opportunities when appropriate.
- Maintain database of current and prospect members/customers.
- Create and execute marketing plans, develop calendars, and track projects through timelines.
- Perform scan of emerging market and media trends and recommend options that support the marketing objectives of our client.
- Present status reports and marketing proposals to staff and academy leadership as needed.
- Work with other members of marketing team to develop creative ideas for product promotion.
- Work across teams – esp. with Communications and Graphics – to ensure that marketing ideas become copy and images that support marketing goals and comply with brand guidelines.
- Represent our client at industry trade shows and events and coordinate exhibitor logistics, develop pre- and post-show attendee communications, develop on-site promotions and materials, develop membership recruitment and retention goals and analyze return on investment for each show.
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other related degree.
Credentials (years of experience): 1 to 3 years of marketing experience required
