My direct client, a global luxury goods retailer, is currently hiring an IT Business Analyst with strong E-Commerce experience to join their growing team!

Business Analysis
  • ​Understand, translate and prioritize business needs into user stories and functional requirements for my client's online presence; providing input into solutions and working with relevant business units and other IT team members to ensure deliverables meet requirements and documented business objectives / benefits.
  • The primary focus for this component of the role will be ensuring that the needs of markets within the Americas region are adequately represented within global developments, liaising with other members of the teams including Business Analysts across HQ & other offices as required. It will also be responsible for ensuring that the market needs are adequately understood and documented for all new eStore implementations within the region.
  • This role may take the lead on some global developments, particularly if they are of most significance to the Americas region but it will always be responsible for ensuring input is provided for the region into global developments even where lead is not taken.
​Technical Project Management
  • Manage the technical delivery of projects (as assigned by the Online & eCommerce Director, Global IT) into the business.
  • The focus for this component of the role will be the oversight of Americas regional deliverables such as global reference application pulls and regional / market localizations and developments including regular sprint planning activities with the vendor.
  • Depending on the candidate, there may also be project management activities relating to the technical delivery new eStores into the Americas region.
  • This role will ensure my client's project methodology including the IT Demand process is followed, scope and requirements are captured, risks and issues are managed, architecture is reviewed and approved as appropriate, system integrator(s) develop to specification and deadline, testing (system and user acceptance) is completed thoroughly and appropriate communication levels are maintained to all stakeholders throughout the process.
The role will work as part of a distributed team (across Copenhagen, Baltimore and Hong Kong) so some travel will be required, a proactive working style and a focus on delivering benefits into the business will be essential to success.

  • BA/BS
  • 3+ years working with eCommerce solutions, experience with the Demandware (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) platform will be highly regarded.
  • 3+ years experience in business analysis or project management activities.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in an IT space.
  • Working in a retailer, a global organization or distributed team a plus.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
