KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build emails according to specifications and work collaboratively with the promotions, creative and strategy teams
  • Maintain and adhere to production schedules to ensure campaigns are produced and delivered on time
  • Perform quality assurance, link checks, and track approvals through the approval process, making any corrections as needed
  • Perform build of emails via coding of content areas, business rules and links in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget email platform for delivery to customers
  • Setup business rules and scripting language in Exact Target to ensure market versions are dynamically constructed
  • Support other digital channels on an as needed basis
JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Experience, Skills and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, communications or a relevant field
  • 1-3 years or experience building, coding, optimizing and deploying email campaigns
  • Experience with email marketing automation software (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Exact Target or Silverpop strongly preferred)
  • A good understanding of HTML, CSS or JavaScript programming languages for email
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Preferred Experience, Skills and Education:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of email marketing, including targeting and A/B testing, deliverability, sender score/reputation and metrics
  • Track record of managing and executing high-volume digital campaigns in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated accountability for results
  • Basic understanding of email best practices and deliverability and CAN-SPAM regulations.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, with proficiency in Excel and Access
  • Ability to adapt to changing strategies, technologies and duties
