Position Summary:
The Freelance Presentation Specialist will be responsible for designing, producing and updating presentations for internal and external audiences. This candidate will work under the direction of the Marketing Manager and Site Lead and will be responsible for upholding global brand standards while creating effective, dynamic and well thought out presentations. He/She will partner with product specialists, marketing managers, writers, and designers, and in the development of presentation materials. This candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively, visualize and execute data-driven content through easy to understand, charts, graphs, and info-graphics.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and update institutional and retail presentations for investment community
  • Work in an organized fashion, paying attention to detail and deadlines
  • Create original graphic content for slides appropriate for specific target audiences
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders to develop visual aids to communicate complex messages
  • Willingness to learn and understand basic investment concepts and data to assist in presentation capabilities
  • Work within studio workflow and provide quality assurance of all deliverables
  • Assist team as necessary with brainstorming and execution
  • Liaise with, and effectively manage projects with internal marketing team and off site vendors, including creating mark-ups and proofing
  • Proactively take ownership of his/her work, shares best practices, etc.
  • Excel at both taking direction and giving instruction.
  • Experience working with financial data reports and experience with the creation and maintenance of quarterly fact sheets, investment commentaries and pitch-books.
Job Knowledge & Skills:
  • 4+ years financial or corporate design, preferably in institutional department, with a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design.
  • Have corporate finance experience and working knowledge and understanding of financial content
  • Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Manage time effectively, to multi-task and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Maintains advanced-level command of industry software/hardware. Stays abreast of industry trends and updates. Shares knowledge and best practices with team.
  • Takes responsibility for professional development, seeking out and acting upon feedback of performance.
  • Familiarity with Seismic (a 3rd party document management library and database) a plus
