Job Description:

The Software Engineer (Web Developer)'s primary responsibility is for development of websites and web applications and configuration of marketing automation tools in support of internal and external audiences. Work with leading web development tools and user experience concepts and methodologies to develop and maintain web-based applications to achieve maximum usability. Work with leading marketing automation tools to improve lead management. Assignments will typically be of a complex nature requiring a structured yet practical approach to web development and system configuration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Required:
  • Web-based user experience implementation, including responsive design.
  • Develop dynamic website content using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML/XSL, Java based on project requirements.
  • Write technical specifications and detailed design documents as needed for new site features.
  • Interact with the business analyst, developers, and architects on a day-to-day basis by gathering and organizing requirements, providing status, and ensuring that stakeholders are informed and satisfied with the end product.
  • Application Support: Incident Investigation, Troubleshooting, and Management
  • Application Maintenance: Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)


EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Required:
  • 3+ years of general development experience
  • 3+ years website and application development experience
  • 3+ years of design experience, including data modeling
  • Excellent HTML4/5+CSS, JavaScript/jQuery skills and Bootstrap for cross-browser, cross-device. implementation.
  • Proven development skills using Java and XML/XSL based on project requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop project specifications, schedules, and plans in a software development environment.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser implementation issues and coding for accessibility.
