As the Web Director you will work with a team of designers, marketers, developers, and content specialists to continually improve our websites and develop new ways to improve our e-business.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain the overall web strategy, with emphasis on user experience, lead generation, conversion strategy, site design, and effective content management.
  • Be responsible for both strategy and tactical execution for growing our e-business through technology and leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders including publishers, copywriters, sales, editorial and web teams to deploy web efforts.
  • Coordinate web projects across departments, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and develop/maintain a master content schedule
  • Optimize content and delivery for better retention, conversions, user experience, increased page views and length of visits.
  • Have knowledge of the digital marketing industry, trends and new developments.
  • Collect relevant web, social media, and electronic communication metrics and offer concise and actionable analyses.
  • Build consensus and work effectively within cross-departmental team(s) and with personalities with varying perspectives and needs.
  • Articulate and implement various emerging trends and behaviors across the entire web landscape.
  • Promote an open working environment where opinions, views and ideas can be shared.
  • Background in retail, b2c, and consumer product marketing a plus! 
Position Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a high visibility website, with at least one year in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • 1 – 3 years' web analytics experience, including building and analyzing reports with Google Analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of effective web and graphic design principles as well as project management.
  • Familiarity with web development, database and content management, information architecture principles, and techniques to deliver an excellent user experience efficiently.
  • Expertise using Wordpress.
  • You don't need to be a full stack developer for this position, but you should have significant web development experience.
  • Technical knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript.
