Title: HRIS Consultant
Location: Hopkinton, MA (patrial remote - on site 1-2 days a week) 
Type: 25-35 Hours to start - full time hours after 3 months
Rate: DOE

Duration: 6 month Contract to Hire 
Start: ASAP 

Our client is growing and has an immediate need for a HRIS Consultant to help with an existing base of work as well as work coming in from their new vendors.
The HRIS Consultant will be responsible for supporting the successful design and implementation of HCM solutions for clients by working closely with client business teams and internal delivery teams to drive the scope, definition, delivery management and adoption of cloud based solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
• Taking a lead functional role in assignments and building trusted client relationships
• Conducting discovery sessions with client to determine pain points and diagnose how the client can provide value and how the implementation can achieve return on investment
• Managing the client implementation process through effective use of change control and adhering to project management standards of the company
• Taking ownership for drafting and developing the project plan
• Documenting requirements, business processes, application configurations, testing plans and other artifacts
• Configuring the HCM platform to meet customer requirements
• Preparing project documentation
• Preparing and delivering end-user training sessions to facilitate successful adoption

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in a consulting role
  • 2+ years of experience as a business analyst or other functional lead interviewing clients and documenting requirements
  • Background in HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance
  • Logical and technical mindset that is able to analyze problems and identify root causes
  • Experience conducting technology training sessions
  • Experience in implementing or training on a software system
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with business applications and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-reliance and a desire to work in a high energy, fast growing organization
  • The ability to work autonomously in challenging customer environments - taking ownership for challenges and identifying solutions and workarounds
  • Work with multiple clients concurrently
  • Experience in writing and executing software test plans preferred
  • 30%-50% (Occasionally up to 75%)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
