Top three tech must haves:
- Experience creating SEO/SEM strategic content for e-mail campaigns
- Experience deploying e-mails through a marketing automation system; preferably Marketo.
- Extra pluses: trade show experience (setting up, planning, etc), posting content to social media (specifically linkedin)

This cross-functional marketing role supports the advertising sales business with B2B lead generation, multichannel content, and sales enablement activities. These activities include email marketing, landing page creation, event planning and logistics, collateral development, and social media content creation, all with the goal of driving prospects into the sales funnel and nurturing them into qualified leads for the sales team.

The Audience Solutions Marketing team contributes to the financial success of the advertising sales department by maintaining a clear focus on generating demand, converting leads, and maximizing sales opportunities. Key initiatives include branding and market awareness, lead generation campaigns to key customer segments, and the development and channel distribution of smart, engaging multichannel marketing content. Below are the essential duties and responsibilities for the Marketing Associate.
  • Email Marketing Operations: Create and maintain email marketing schedule and email deployments. Manage email templates, enter content, select target lists, seek approvals and schedule deployments through marketing automation software (Marketo).
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and prepare creative and booth materials, presentations, and lead generation activities for ~10 industry event exhibitions annually.
  • Create On-Message Marketing Collateral: Support the sales funnel though the creation and maintenance of sales PowerPoint presentations, product sell sheets, and proposal templates, with an eye for branding compliance, cohesive messaging, and audience personalization.
  • SEM/Paid Media Management: Build, test, iterate and report on Google AdWords Search and Display Network ad campaigns that support channel goals.
  • Administrative Support to Marketing Team: Provide administrative support to the Promo team with invoicing, budget tracking, vendor trafficking, and scheduling.
