Duration: 3-6 month (possible extension)

Responsible for obtaining, uploading, and assigning descriptive metadata (object names and environments) for thousands of digital files into company image database.
Also responsible for image order fulfillment, which consists researching and providing images that meet the client's specific criteria for content, composition, image and reproduction quality and then sending digital files in a variety of file formats clients both internally and externally.
Distribute approved imagery in a variety of ways (email, via the DAM, FTP, etc.) depending on the request. Also provide contact sheets (both hard and softcopy) for review, color reference prints, and watermarked files as needed.
Coordinate with the Publicity and Marketing departments to select and maintain certain images for exclusive use and to protect them from being distributed to others before they are published.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Working knowledge of image archiving, database management and a variety of digital file formats required.
Three years of experience using either FileMaker Pro, Access, or an image database program is required.
Two years of experience using Adobe Photoshop for retouching and color correcting is required.
Experience with Adobe Lightroom or ACDSee for photo editing and batch conversions a big plus.
Experience with PC peripheral devices (DVD burners, printers, scanners, etc.) is required.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Must have the ability to communicate promptly, professionally, clearly in person and via written correspondence.
Must be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail and be able to enter data using correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure in order to meet short deadlines.
