Major Responsibilities:
  • Kick off work streams using well-documented materials
  • Monitor and report on project status to all stakeholders and escalate issues as required
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, follow-up and tracking action items
  • Assure the quality of all project deliverables
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting to all stakeholders
  • Maintaining a risk register to actively manage items that may impact project cost, quality, and scope
Key Requirements:
  • Experience with IT Security is a plus
  • Proven project management skills including capability to clearly articulate project roles and responsibilities, strong interpersonal skills to drive project completion in a matrixed environment and reporting. Ability to:
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects
    • Develop product or service specifications and conduct analysis and research of solution options and recommendations
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks, report and escalate to management as needed
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • General familiarity with security tools such as Nessus, Snort, McAfee, Qualys, Nexpose, MBSA, etc. is a plus
  • Must be a self-starter able to execute and deliver projects independently with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills required.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to efficiently prioritize and multitask, and work under pressure to meet deadlines and team objectives.
  • Must be comfortable working with senior level managers across a global organization.

Preferred Skills:
  • Solid educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science, IT Security or engineering for technical project managers
  • Designations such as PMP, CISSP, CISA, CISM highly desired
  • Solid grasp of leading information security standards including ISO 27002, OWASP, NIST 800-53r4, HIPAA and SANS Critical Security Controls is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office are required; hands-on experience with various technologies related to this role are required.
