The Project Manager (PM) is the leader of our clients project delivery and is responsible for establishing and managing project process and team priories. A PM is responsible for partnering with account management, developing all project timelines, managing deadlines, tracking budget, managing scope and client requests. A PM is also responsible for reporting project status internally and externally to clients and vendors.
  • Point of contact for the internal team; for project-specific plans, schedules, and revisions
  • Expert in managing and successfully delivering digital projects ranging from paid media banners and videos to email campaigns, mobile apps and mid to large websites.
  • Project experience with conference/convention booths is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and analytics processes is a plus.
  • Expert in managing and successfully delivering print projects ranging from Journal Ads and brochures to direct mail, product packaging, and large format pieces
  • Develop project plans (resource allocations, effort, budget and assumptions) for all digital and print projects
  • Proficient in creating project plans and estimates from a project brief or Statement of work (SOW)
  • Fluent in contributing to the development of an SOW
  • Track, analyze, and report hours expended on jobs to ensure projects are within estimated budget. Anticipate and flag potential risks, articulate causes for over-burn, and scope changes.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and solutions during the project lifecycle
  • Provide recommendations for mitigating timeline and scope risks as well as recommendations for saving budget
  • Demonstrate good judgment when choosing effective methods of communications
  • Develop strong relationships across all departments and be a team player
  • Exhibit strong listening skills
  • Ability to lead effective meetings such as kick-offs, internal reviews and weekly team and client status.
  • Familiarity and ability to conduct daily standups of scrum meetings as needed
  • Prepare internal status meeting agendas; capture and distribute meeting notes and action items. Establish next-steps and daily team priorities
  • Oversee client regulatory requirements to ensure accuracy
  • Experienced in working with digital and print producers and developers
  • Understand and support the internal routing process and print production process. Familiarity with digital routing tools (ProofHQ) is desirable.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and "switch gears” quickly in a fast paced agency environment.
  • Ensure changes to project requirements, such as timing, scope, resources are communicated and understood by all members of the team, and supporting departments
  • Participation in new business pitches
  • 4-5 years of experience in project management in advertising, design, production, or marketing agency
  • Must have strong digital project management skills as well as print experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic web technology
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Proven ability to manage internal and client stakeholder expectations
  • Professional attitude in interactions with coworkers, clients, and vendors
