We have an immediate requirement for a Autonomous Vehicle - Linux Desktop Support with our client in Auburn Hills, MI.

Job Responsibilities:

Client is looking for a Desktop Support Administrator within the client organization supporting the Product Development – Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
  • Provide Tier-1 and Tier-2 level End User Support for Windows and Linux based clients within established SLAs
  • Work with user community to perform advance root cause analysis and develops checklists for typical problems
  • Work with Security teams to ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures
  • Re-imaging OS and installing software on Windows and Linux clients
  • Support web based and client based applications to fulfill business needs
  • Escalate problems to next level support professionals when necessary
  • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize day-to-day responsibilities
  • Excellent problem solving skills along with good communication
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Experience:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience and Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Strong background in End User Support and Administration of Windows (7, 10) and Linux (Debian / Ubuntu) systems
  • Experience in resolving software and hardware issues via root cause analysis, diagnostics, and process of elimination
  • Experience in resolving networking issues; Good understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, etc.)
  • Experience in Systems Administration activities (AD / LDAP account creation, Computer Objects, Group Policies)
  • Providing training and "how-to” instructions for end users
  • Supporting Mobile OS such as iOS and Android
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+ Certifications
  • Ability to write scripts to automate simple tasks (DOS, PowerShell, Bash Shell, etc.)
  • Experience supporting a development team; Knowledge of Agile software development concepts such as Scrum
  • Proficient with Google Suite applications
