Installation, configuration and administration of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 7.0, 7.5 and Webservers that host intranet / internet facing Java / J2EE applications.
Troubleshoot the application issues, investigate and resolve issues in coordination with the development teams. Perform WebSphere Application Server scripting (Jython, Python etc.).
Execute and support automated J2EE EAR builds.
Manage code migrations to higher environments. Create and maintain support documentation for on-call and support personnel to monitor and troubleshoot production issues.

Skilled in WAS 7.0, 7.5 installation, tuning and troubleshooting.
4-5 years Knowledge in the Client/Apache Webserver installation and tuning including plugin configuration.
4-5 years Knowledge in the AIX and LINUX operating systems.
4-5 years of experience in configuring and troubleshooting in WebSphere Application Server (WAS) in multiple environments.
Experienced with clustered and non-clustered environments
Working knowledge of Datacenter Infrastructure components like F5s, Load Balancers, SAN, NAS storage devices, network components will be a Plus.
Working knowledge of DB2 will be a plus.
4-5 years Scripting, automation knowledge Working knowledge on any of (1 or more of) WebSphere ESB/Websphere Process Server, Adobe LiveCycle, Corticon rules a definite plus. Configure WebSphere Application Server (WAS) for global security, MQ, Database.
