Position Summary
Reporting to the IS M&A Director, the IS M&A Leader is an integral part of the Global IT M&A team. As a key team member of the Infrastructure Services Global M&A team, this position is responsible for leading IT due diligence activities related to domestic and international mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. The team will develop the overall playbook for Infrastructure Services M&A activity, ensuring consistent application of the playbook to drive strategic integrations and seamless planning and execution of deals.

Principal Accountabilities
  • A leader for Global IT Infrastructure, leading and coordinating due diligence, day one and post-acquisition integration activities on behalf of Infrastructure Services.
  • Ensures appropriate financial analyses and input to deal models based upon deep understanding of target's IT environment, infrastructure and technology roadmaps.
  • Partners with other M&A leaders within Global IT, Corporate Real Estate and Corporate Business Development, and coordinates the due diligence process across functional teams within Infrastructure Services.
  • Engages Corporate Real Estate and Business Operations To Align Infrastructure Activities and Estimate Costs Associated with Employee and Site Optimization Plans
  • Approves Proposed End State Infrastructure & Application Designs & Associated Infrastructure Costs
  • Ensures integration programs are properly funded and staffed, tracks and reports progress to plan and deal model.
  • Leads and participates in presentations on transactions, providing guidance and recommendations on required technology investments as a result of M&A activity.
  • Defines Infrastructure Services Synergy Opportunities.
  • Works within the Core M&A IT Team for policy, process, and playbook(s) creation and modification to align with the IMO core policies and governance.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record successfully leading the IT execution of M&A projects.
  • Strong understanding of all talent and technology components, including software and infrastructure, associated with modern-day acquisitions, integrations and divestitures.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with others, to influence based upon knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to affect change: Strong history of building positive business-changing processes with successful implementation of said processes.

Preferred Experience and Education
  • Undergraduate business or technology degree and minimum 15 years relevant experience, or
  • Graduate degree and minimum 10 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience leading the IT aspects of M&A due diligence and acquisition integration.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience supervising the work of others.
  • Experience in financial analysis (including forecasting and financial modeling) and working within cross-functional project teams.
  • M&A transactional experience in manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, or a related industry.
  • Ability to partner at the C-level, able to work independently in a global organization.
