Job Description
Client is searching for a versatile financial professional to join the team as the Senior SEC Reporting Accountant consultant. This position works within the Corporate Accounting organization to assist in the Company's external financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual reporting, SEC filings, and other financial reporting needs.

Primary Responsibilities
• Assist in the Company's external financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual reporting (Form 10-Q and Form 10-K), other SEC filings, and other financial reporting as required
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for SEC filings
• Ensure compliance with all U.S. GAAP and disclosure requirements
• Assist with the preparation of press release financial tables
• Assist with U.S. GAAP and SEC research
• Ensure effectiveness of the internal controls over the financial reporting process
• Support the accounting close process in areas such as stock-based compensation
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries in compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Perform various ad hoc projects as requested

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or with an emphasis in Accounting
• CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm, including audits of public companies
• 2 + years of Big 4 audit experience and 4 + years of SEC & technical accounting experience at a public company
• Strong understanding and proficiency of U.S. GAAP
• Proven experience interpreting technical accounting guidance
• Proficiency with MS excel required
• Proficiency with Workiva required
• Experience using large ERP system preferred
