A Product Owner with our client CRM organization plays a pivotal role in defining the requirements for foundational technology and specific outbound marketing communications that enable the business to provide timely and relevant communications to its customers.
This individual is at the pivot point of business and technology and has significant responsibility across both domains.
The Client CRM team will look to you to identify technology and/or experiences that should be built to help drive its objectives and you would be responsible to cost justify such an investment.
Once funded you would work with technologist in the company to execute on that vision, employing your skills as a technically adept and capable technical product manager. And for technology and experiences already launched you will own their long-term performance, responsible to monitor effectiveness and decisively act in instances where unexpected behavior is detected. Being a Product Owner at our client means just that: you would be the owner. Responsibilities:
Own the customer experience and goals for emails and push notifications that motivate customers to start new purchases on our client.
Understand customer pain points and develop solutions
Lead an agile team to deliver on business goals with high velocity
Clearly set the product/backlog prioritization with a balance of near-term deliverables and longer-term investment
Deep dive into metrics and make product decisions, including having ownership and revenue responsibility for the marketing programs developed under your direction.
Develop detailed requirements for new features
Work with designers to develop the customer experience
Work with Machine Learning scientists experts to create science-based initiatives to optimize specific objectives, including developing the business case and requirements for these efforts and owning the revenue outcomes.
Work with stakeholders and other global our client teams to solve customer problems
Launch 5-7 A/B or multivariate tests per month, assess performance, and make roll out or additional testing decisions

Skills:
At least 3 years of product management experience leading a customer focused product
Strong critical thinker and ability to make quick decisions
Strong communicator that can effectively communicate strategies & trade-offs up to senior leaders, stakeholders and development teams
Strong organizational skills
Computer Science degree preferred
Startup experience preferred
Knowledge of email and/or mobile experience marketing is a strong plus

Location: Seattle is preferred (would consider strong candidates in San Jose)
