Alluvion is currently hiring for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager located in the Tampa, FL area. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Candidate will be a licensed 2-20 with experience handling Large Commercial Property and Casualty Accounts

Job Function
Execution of Client Objective Support Plan (COSP); provide daily program management and documentation; maintain accurate and complete client data; and provide proactive communication to client and underwriting facilities.

Essential Functions
  • Execute identified strategies in Client Objective Support Plans within target date.
  • Support and provide daily program management in compliance with service delivery standards and defined business processes.
  • Ensure accurate and time standard compliant input of renewal related activities and workflows into Agency Management and CRM system.
  • Obtain complete set of required underwriting documents to support Request for Proposal process.
  • Create client/prospect program design demonstrating unique client needs and coverage analysis
  • Discern decision criteria and communicate for successful placement in marketplace via negotiations with underwriters.
  • Ensure accurate policy documentation for review and delivery to client.
  • Ensure complete and accurate client database information systems.
  • Provide proactive client communication and maintain positive client relations

A. Education
  • College degree preferred (2 years)
  • Florida General Lines (2-20) license will be required
  • INS designation or equivalent designation required
B. Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years property/casualty insurance experience
C. Skills
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, products and usages, as well as industry operations
  • Interpret basic private and commercial contract provisions
  • Perform complex mathematical calculations
  • Understanding of Agency Accounting methods
  • Basic knowledge and application of entire range of casualty risk financing techniques including retro plans, retention plans and self-insured programs
  • Basic knowledge and application of maritime casualty programs including USL&H and Jones Act knowledge is helpful
  • Basic knowledge and application of risk analysis techniques
  • Review workers' compensation and general liability rates, classifications and audits plus loss experience to determine proper classes, payrolls and plans utilized and evaluate loss experience on property and casualty risks
  • Knowledge and application of direct, wholesale, specialty & alternative markets
  • Calculate and verify experience modification rates
  • Application of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization and style
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft CRM, Outlook, Excel, Word, Paperwise, and Applied
  • Ability to scan documents
  • Communicate electronically via e-mail and voice mail
  • Ability to utilize on-line systems, including but not limited to Internet and third party systems.
