Alluvion Staffing is currently seeking a licensed insurance customer service representative with experience in property and casualty insurance.  In this role you will provide a broad range of insurance-related customer service and sales, with the goal of maintaining and strengthening new and existing relationships.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer customer calls inquiring about property and casualty insurance lines of business including Homeowners, Condo, Renters, Flood, Auto and Personal Umbrella.
  • Exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Generate sales via inbound and outbound calls. Aggressive follow through is necessary to exceed goals.
  • Simultaneously work with multiple systems/software. Strong systems skills are a must to be successful in this position.
  • Ability to navigate and enter data in computer systems accurately and in an efficient manner.
  • Create cross sell opportunities by offering additional lines of insurance; creating an insurance package for each caller.
  •  Learn and understand underwriting guidelines with Property, Auto and Liability carriers.
  • Demonstrate superior product knowledge and possesses the ability to show customers the value of our agency versus other brokerage or captive agencies or buying direct from a carrier.
  • Promote, recommend, and demonstrate the value of plans based on a logical relationship to the customer's needs and interests.
  • Utilize effective outside-the-box thinking for those special and out of the ordinary circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-40 or 2-20 License  
  • 1-3 years' experience in Customer Service field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
