Alluvion Staffing is seeking a Business Analyst (W2 ONLY) for an immediate 6+ month contract role, Business Management Analyst II ( Strategic Initiatives), with a client in Jacksonvill, FL.

Overview:
The Business Management Analyst II will support the execution of strategic bank initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess the collective needs and goals of various lines of business and gather the requirements necessary to drive growth, create efficiency and scalability, enhance client experience, and/or comply with government regulations. Research, analyze, and make recommendations to enhance existing processes or to create new competitive advantages, while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Use business and systems analysis methodologies to ensure projects align to corporate and business goals while maintaining high quality, mitigating risk, and meeting customer expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Liaise among stakeholders at various levels of the organization to elicit, analyze, and communicate requirements for business processes, policies, information systems, reporting, and scalable infrastructure
  • Identify and analyze opportunities, develop and test assumptions using qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, inductive and deductive reasoning, abstract thinking, and root-cause analysis to map business requirements to project objectives and make realistic, feasible recommendations
  • Support, prioritize, coordinate, and complete work associated with achieving the strategic direction of the company with minimal supervision and ensure alignment to key performance indicators
  • Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to more complex data mining. Design, develop, and implement business solutions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, project teams, and business partners at all levels of the company
  • Clearly document current and proposed future state environments
  • Develop and execute project plans and/or business specifications and adapt as needed to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Prepare business management materials for executive presentations including, but not limited to: strategic portfolio status reporting dashboards, visual depictions of complex, and often abstract ideas for program socialization, scorecards, and quarterly reviews
  • Prepare project related documentation such as business cases, cost/benefit analysis, project charters, executive presentations, business and functional requirements documents, use cases, user acceptance test plans, work breakdown structures, and risk analyses
  • Collaborate with technology partners to plan, design, and deliver programmatic solutions to meet key business objectives
  • Develop and maintain standard tooling for department SharePoint sites

  • Ability to use strong analytical skills to assess and comprehend many business concepts, including translating vision into actionable and detailed requirements
  • Ability to collaborate with various levels of staff to conduct needs assessments, meet quality standards for services, and ensure satisfaction for internal and external clients
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly for the intended audience in a variety of communication settings and styles
  • Ability to comfortably and quickly adapt to uncertainty and changes in business needs
  • Ability to work well both independently, with little to no direction, and in a team environment
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in a timely manner, often with incomplete information and/ or tight deadlines

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years business, systems, and data analysis experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years financial services industry experience required
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint 2010
  • Experience in developing executive level presentations required
  • Familiarity with technologies used to support financial services platforms preferred
  • Experience applying Project Management Lifecycle and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies preferred
  • Experience using SQL and relational database concepts preferred
  • Project management experience a plus
